Ann Arbor

I did not have a wedding yesterday for the first time in awhile. I spent the day in Ann Arbor with my girls. I love that shot of Amelia!

Our 26 hour New York City trip

Here are some of the photos from our very quick trip. I don't know what we were thinking but we had the desire to not even get a hotel for our stay. We had a blast! I took a ton of photos but just wanted to post a couple quick ones. New York mean so much to me. My Parents and Grandparents are from there. It feels like home.

We got a Yankee's game in! 5 More games in the stadium before they move across the street to their new one. We went to one of the last Tiger games before they moved and we just had to see a game before the Yankee's moved.

September 6 2008 Midland Michigan

It is always fun to do a wedding in a new location and I had no idea how beautiful Midland is! Tonya and Phil had their wedding and reception at the H Hotel. What an elegant location! The H Hotel was once the Ashman Hotel. Phil, who is a Doctor was just excited as I was that they changed the name of the hotel plus added a coffee shop (CaFe Zinc) and went with a Periodic Table theme. Tonya put together a beautiful event and as you can see the weather was incredible.

September 12-19

I know I need to post some photos from my amazing wedding in Midland that I had last week. I will get that up on Monday. I want to post a few of the photos from the Blue Jean Ball last night. I had a blast. The dueling pianos were very entertaining. I also have a wedding today, E-photos tomorrow and yes I will be going to New York City this week for the fun of it. I am really excited. I have not been there in years. So I will have the posting of that trip by the end of the week.

Patriot Day

MIS for the next couple days will have the replica of the Vietnam Wall and also the wall of all the ones that died on 9/11. I don't get a chance to do much personal work but this was something that I really wanted to go to. Especially because my Dad was going. It does not matter how many years after, the thought of war remain in solders minds forever. We can only hope and pray that they can heal from the pain and sorrow that was experience over there.

Photography Class

I have decided, especially since I have been asked many many times, that I am going to teach a photography class. Who is interested? Email if you are. I am wanting to start the classes in Mid-January. I am going away yet again to a photography convention. I will be filled with so much new and fun info. More than what I have now. Who's in?

Charities

If anyone knows me well enough, they know that I am big with giving back. I just wanted to pass on the information of the charities that I help out. I think it is important as a society that we give back whatever we can. Whether it is time or a financial donations, it all adds up.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (http://www.jdrf.com/) Just a quick note about this. I have a past bride that her daughter has diabetes. Alexis Bailey will be in the Sept 14 2008 walk in Ann Arbor. She is almost to her goal. If you feel the desire to donate to the jdrf, I am sure Alexis would greatly appreciate to be helped to her goal.

Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee (www.bgclenawee.org) They are having a Blue Jean Ball on Sept 12. I will be there taking photos. It is going to be lots of fun.

Operation Smile (http://www.operationsmile.org/) October is National Family Portrait month. I will be donating $30 to Operations Smile with every portrait session I do.

Muscular Dystrophy Association (http://www.mda.org/)

Even if you do not find anything on the list that you don't feel strongly about. Find something else. For every little bit helps.
